Our Assertive Communication Groups provide a safe and supportive space for individuals who want to rebuild their confidence and learn how to communicate in a clear, respectful, and empowered way.

What Is Assertive Communication?

Assertive communication means expressing your thoughts, feelings, and boundaries in a calm and respectful way — without being aggressive or passive. It’s an important step in healing and regaining control of your life.

Who Can Join?

Our Assertive Communication Groups are open to adults living in Sint Maarten who are looking to strengthen their communication skills in a safe, understanding environment. You do not need any prior experience to join — just a willingness to participate and take a step toward personal growth.

Have experienced trauma, abuse, or manipulation

You may have felt silenced or disrespected. This group helps you safely rebuild your voice.

Struggle to express their needs or opinions

If speaking up feels difficult or overwhelming, we’ll support you in gaining confidence.

Feel anxious or guilty when setting boundaries

Learn how to say “no” without fear or guilt, and protect your space with self-respect.
